Prof. Junji Nakamura and Dr. Mo Yan Present at 53rd IUPAC Congress and 50th World Chemistry Congress in Kuala Lumpur

At the IUPAC conference held in Kuala Lumpur from July 12 to 19, 2025, Prof. Junji Nakamura gave an oral presentation on 'Carbon-neutral society that circulates carbon dioxide and methanol,' and Dr. Mo Yan gave an oral presentation on 'Mixed-potential-driven catalysis: An electrochemical mechanism for room-temperature co-oxidation on gold catalysts.'
Additionally, Specially Appointed Prof. Nakamura was appointed as the leader of the carbon-neutral project as a member of IUPAC's CHEMRAWN committee.

The 53rd IUPAC General Assembly and 50th World Chemistry Congress successfully took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 12 to 19, 2025. This major event attracted over 3,000 delegates from around the globe.

Mo Yan Explores Novel Catalytic Mechanisms
